Carol arrived!

I saw my uncle today. He started eating again.
 Carol made it to Vienna!
We hit the town and took the 7A to the subway station.
Kids in front of the Gutenberg statue.
This is Ruprechtskirche (Saint Rupert).
It is the oldest church in Vienna.
It is 1000 years old.
 Thomas explained things to Carol.
We bought some black nail polish.
 We walked around a lot.
As we walked into the Jesuit Church.
We looked at Andrea Pozzo's painted cupola.
It is completely flat and painted.
Ok, here you can't see it.

The organist was rehearsing for this weekend's mass.

This is what the cupola looks like from the wrong angle.
 We took some pictures.
 What a fantastic pulpit.

 It had great angels.
We walked over to the Holocaust Memorial.
Then we made our reservation at Meixner's.
 Cheers!
It was asparagus season.
We went to Tichy's for ice cream.
Thomas is serious about his ice cream.

  1. These are wonderful pictures on your blog! I love to see that you have your blog up and running. I love it.
Thomas and his girlfriend are such a cute couple!
I am happy to see you've had time with your uncle. I recognize some of the places, but not all, so I need to come back for another trip. The weather looks nice! I know you will have a wonderful time and great travels. xoxo
