We went to the Leopold Museum today.
Dr. Rudolf Leopold, eye doctor in Vienna, started collecting
Egon Schiele during the 1950s and has the largest
Schiele collection in the world.
We walked through the Heidi Horten Collection,
and admired the view.
This is the courtyard of the museum. The historic building was the Imperial horse stable.
Alexander Calder, always good.
And of course Egon Schiele, Austrian expressionist genius.
One of Heidi's Picassos; very nice.
And Paul Klee's "Siblings".
Alfred Kubin's strange creatures were awesome.
